Wiley assisted a geotechnical engineering firm with a geotechnical investigation to gather soil data for foundation designs at two residential subdivisions. The engineering firm elected to utilize one of Wiley’s operators that is experienced and qualified to log soils in accordance with the Unified Soil Classification System (USCS). By having the operator both drill and log the soil borings, we were able to recognize significant cost savings in mobilization for the client.
